Product Brief
NSE3128

The NSE3128G and NSE3128H are part of the network search engine (NSE) product family. The NSE3128 is a Network Search Engine (NSE) with a database capacity of 128K IPv4 36-bit entries. The device also supports entry sizes of 72-bits, 144-bits, and 288-bits. Multiple database entry widths are supported allowing for various table sizes while preserving 100% table utilization.

NetLogic Microsystems' network search engines perform high-speed parallel search operations on databases. They allow for up to 83 million searches per second, providing network awareness and updates/modifications, making them ideal for packet classification, policy enforcement, CIDR forwarding, MPLS searches, ATM searches and/or QoS enforcement for differentiated services in core, edge, campus and enterprise networking applications.
