MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. Aug. 25, 2005 NetLogic Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NETL), a leader in the design and development of knowledge-based processors, today announced that Alan Krock has been elected to the company’s Board of Directors. Krock will also serve as the chairman of the board’s audit committee.

Krock currently serves as chief financial officer at PMC-Sierra, Inc. (NASDAQ: PMCS). He has more than 20 years of experience in both the high technology and financial sectors. Prior to joining PMC-Sierra, he was the vice president and chief financial officer of Integrated Device Technology, Inc. Prior to that, he was corporate controller for Rohm USA and a senior manager at Price Waterhouse, now PricewaterhouseCoopers, in the United States and Australia. Krock received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
