Glue-less Solutions Technology

NetLogic Microsystems' "glue-less" solutions integrate NetLogic's exclusive Multi-Processor Search Interface (MPSI) register transfer level (RTL) code into a knowledge-based processors and network search engine (NSE). This solution offers system architects space-efficient router data plane designs while dramatically improving time-to-market for the system. Glue-less devices eliminate the need of additional hardware such as an FPGA or ASIC in order to interface knowledge-based processors and NSEs directly to industry-leading merchant network processor vendors. Alliances with key network processor manufacturers such as AMCC and Intel, have been established for NetLogic Microsystems' "glue-less" devices.
