Ron Jankov
President and CEO
Ron Jankov has served as President and CEO of NetLogic Microsystems since 2000. Prior to joining NetLogic Microsystems, Jankov was senior vice president and general manager of NeoMagic Corp.’s Multimedia Division. While at NeoMagic, Jankov led an international team of 120 engineering, marketing, sales and design center professionals. Before NeoMagic, he was vice president and general manager of Cyrix Corp.’s Asian operations. Jankov also founded a semiconductor engineering and technical sales firm, Accell Corp., which was purchased by Cyrix in 1994. His extensive semiconductor industry experience includes establishing operations in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and China for LSI Logic Corp. Jankov also played a pivotal role in bringing Texas Instruments’ first personal computer chipset and graphics chip products to market. Jankov holds a bachelor of science degree in Physics from Arizona State University.
Dr. Varad Srinivasan

CTO and Vice President of Product Development
Dr. Varad Srinivasan co-founded NetLogic Microsystems and is the principal designer of NetLogic Microsystems’ Knowledge-based Processor architectures. Prior to co-founding NetLogic Microsystems, Dr. Srinivasan was director of design at Quality Semiconductor. Before joining Quality in 1989, he designed the world’s fastest bipolar PLD at Aspen Semiconductor. Before Aspen, Dr. Srinivasan was a design engineer at IDT, where he was a principal designer of the company’s SRAMs, specialty and multi-port memories.

He also designed DRAM and SRAM products at Fairchild Semiconductor. He earned a master of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a doctorate in Electronics from North Carolina State. Dr. Srinivasan has also developed and patented several innovations in processor and network search engine technology.
 
Michael T. Tate

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining NetLogic Microsystems, Mike Tate was previously interim chief financial officer, vice president, corporate controller, and treasurer at Marvell Technology Group Ltd. He joined Marvell in January 2001 as part of Marvell’s acquisition of Galileo Technology Ltd. Prior to joining Marvell, from 1997 to 2001, he served in various senior financial management roles at Galileo Technology Ltd., including vice president of finance and chief financial officer. From 1994 to 1997, Tate held various senior financial management positions at S3 Incorporated. In addition, he served for more than five years at Deloitte & Touche. Tate is a CPA and holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he graduated with honors.
Behrooz Abdi

Executive VP and GM

Behrooz Abdi a seasoned veteran with over 22 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He joined NetLogic Microsystems from RMI Corporation, where he served as President and CEO. Prior to RMI, Abdi served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm’s CDMA Technologies (QCT), where he was instrumental in driving the transition to 65nm technologies, acquired and integrated several product and technology companies, and moved into the top ten list of semiconductor companies. His last role at Motorola was Vice President and General Manager for the radio products division, where he led Motorola to its number one market position in RF ICs. Abdi received his bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University and his master degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Marcia Zander
Marcia Zander
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales

As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Marcia Zander is responsible for overseeing worldwide sales operations, including developing and executing the company’s sales strategy and continuing to build and strengthen its world-class sales team. Zander has been leading NetLogic Microsystems’ sales organization since July 1999. Prior to joining NetLogic Microsystems, Zander was a top performer in semiconductor sales and sales management for QuadRep, Inc., a leading manufacturers representative firm. During her 12 years at QuadRep, Zander was recognized for her strong sales results while representing Hitachi Semiconductor America and Temic Semiconductor, among others. In addition to selling semiconductors and other electronic components, she served as general sales manager for QuadRep’s Bay Area Division. Before joining QuadRep, Zander held sales and sales management positions at AVX Corporation and Corning Electronics. She earned a bachelor of science degree in Business Management from Merrimack College.
Ibrahim (Abe) Korgav
Ibrahim (Abe) Korgav
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Business Operations

Abe Korgav has more than 27 years of manufacturing and operational experience in semiconductor and optical (DWDM) transport systems. Prior to joining NetLogic Microsystems, Korgav was a member of venture capital firm Global Catalyst Partners as an entrepreneur-in-residence. Prior to joining Global Catalyst Partners, he was at Zaffire, an optical transport systems company, as senior vice president of operations. Previously, Korgav was with NeoMagic as vice president of manufacturing operations from its early start-up stage and helped build it into a successful public company with more than $250 million in sales. Before NeoMagic, he co-founded Micro Linear and also worked at Seeq, Synertek, AMD and Siliconix in various manufacturing engineering and operations positions.

Korgav holds master of engineering degree from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a bachelor of science degree in Engineering from the Mideast Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.
Niall Bartlett

Vice President of Corporate Development
Before joining NetLogic Microsystems, Niall Bartlett was the vice president of corporate development at GlobespanVirata where he managed the company’s merger and acquisition strategies. Before joining GlobespanVirata, Bartlett spent four years as vice president of marketing at NeoMagic, where he managed all marketing activities from the company’s pre-revenue stage to its market leadership in mobile graphics.
At the start of his career, Bartlett held various engineering and management positions at IBM during a seven-year career with the company. He holds a B.S. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Southampton, England.
Dr. Dimitrios Dimitrelis
Dr. Dimitrios Dimitrelis
Vice President of Engineering

Dr. Dimitrelis was director of processor development for Vitesse Corporation’s Network Processor division prior to joining NetLogic Microsystems. At Vitesse, he led the product definition and development for three generations (1 GE, OC-48 and 10G) of network processors for high-service classification and traffic management applications. Before joining Vitesse, Dr. Dimitrelis spent 11 years at VLSI Technology where his last assignment was the management of the ARM peripherals development group. In this role, he managed teams responsible for development of ARM peripheral IP components and for the integration of ARM processors into VLSI’s product portfolio. Dr. Dimitrelis holds a Ph.D. in engineering from U.C. Berkeley, a master of science degree in management from Stanford University, and a Diplom-Ingenieur degree from Fridericiana University in Karlsruhe, Germany. He holds a U.S. patent and has received various industry awards on product design achievements.

Vice President of Worldwide Manufacturing

Mo Maghsoudnia has served as our Vice President of Worldwide Manufacturing since August of 2006. Mr. Maghsoudnia joined NetLogic Microsystems in June 2003 as Director of Technology. He has more than 18 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and has held both management and technical positions. Prior to NetLogic Microsystems, Mr. Maghsoudnia spent 15 years at Analog Devices where his last assignment was the management of Wafer Fab and Technology. Maghsoudnia holds a master of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University and a bachelor of science degree in Microelectronic Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He holds two U.S. patents and has co-authored various technical papers.
Chris O’Reilly

Vice President of Marketing

Chris O’Reilly is responsible for NetLogic Microsystems’ product marketing, technical marketing, product roadmap and definition, and business partnerships. Prior to his appointed position, O’Reilly served as senior director of marketing and director of sales for the Asia Pacific region. O’Reilly joined NetLogic Microsystems in 1999. Prior to NetLogic Microsystems, O’Reilly was product marketing manager at Hitachi where he was responsible for the ASIC, microprocessors and microcontrollers product lines. He holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering degree from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
Roland Cortes
Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Roland Cortes has served as our Vice President and General Counsel since April 2007, as our Corporate Secretary since May 2004, and as our Director of Legal Affairs and IP Management since April 1999. From December 1995 to April 1999, Mr. Cortes was an intellectual property attorney with Blakely, Sokoloff, Taylor & Zafman LLP, and from 1989 to 1995 held various engineering positions at semiconductor technology companies in San Jose, California. Mr. Cortes is a registered patent attorney and holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Davis.
