Alchemy Au1210 Navigation Processor Provides Performance and Power-Optimization Necessary to Fuel Feature-Rich Personal Navigation Device offered by HD Autonet

Las Vegas, NV, January 8, 2008 — RMI Corporation, a leading supplier of Processor Based Solutions for networking, communications and consumer applications, today announced that Hyundai Autonet (HD Autonet), the largest automotive electronics company in Korea, is utilizing the power-optimized high performance RMI Alchemy™ Au1210 Processor for its Personal Navigation Device – the Broadzone BZN-600.

The Broadzone BZN-600, powered by the RMI Alchemy Au1210™ - a power-optimized embedded processor running at 400MHz with typical operating power at less than one-third Watt (300mW), is a personal navigation device (PND) with a 4.3-inch LCD display with 480 x 272 resolution operating on the Windows® WinCE 5.0 embedded operating system. The PND offers multifunction capabilities normally offered in higher-end portable media players including audio and video playback as well as a photo viewer and MobileTV capabilities.

The RMI Alchemy Au1210 Navigation Processor is optimized for Portable Navigation Devices (PNDs) and for single-purpose media applications.  The Au1210 is both pin-compatible and software-compatible with the other members of the Au1200 Processor™ Family (the Au1200™ and the Au1250™). The Au1210 also enjoys similar functionality of the Au12xx Family with different video resolution performance and clock rates ranging from 300MHz to 400MHz.

Availability and Pricing
The Au1210, a power-optimized SoC operating at 400 MHz supporting video decode up to Wide-CIF resolution, ,and the Au1250, a low-power SoC operating at up to 700 MHz, targeting mPMP customers. Both products are in full-production and are pin and software-compatible with the existing Au1200. Pricing is available upon request.
