RMI Adds JumpGen Systems to RMI Partner Alliance Extending AMC Product Offerings for the Infrastructure

JumpGen Developing a Packet Processing Advanced Mezzanine Card featuring RMI’s XLS Multi-Core Processing Engine

Cupertino, CA and Carlsbad, CA March 31, 2009 – RMI Corporation, a leading supplier of High Performance Processor Solutions for networking, communications, and media rich applications, announced today that JumpGen Systems (JumpGen), an agile, innovative supplier of embedded processor board solutions, has joined the RMI Partner Alliance extending Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) product offerings for the Infrastructure markets. JumpGen is developing a packet processing AdvancedMCTM (PrAMC) featuring the RMI® XLS416 Multi-Core Multi-Threaded Processor. The addition of JumpGen to the Partner Alliance provides RMI’s customers more ODM/OEM partner options to deploy the XLS® Processor in PICMG® standards-based or customer specified form factors. The PrAMC will be available for early access customers in Q2 2009.

The RMI Partner Alliance delivers to it’s customers a breadth of communications protocols and a wide array of networking systems solutions to support the design of embedded technologies for the high- performance networking infrastructure. Customers directly benefit from the RMI Partner Alliance’s ability to offer solutions across a broad market including security, wireless and consumer media applications.
